Vahti ("we", "us") operates getvahti.com and app.getvahti.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

What we collect

Account information. Your email address, used for authentication and delivering your weekly digest.

Competitor data you provide. Company names, website URLs, and other identifiers you enter for monitoring. This is used solely to generate your digests.

Usage data. Pages visited, features used, and basic analytics to improve the product. We do not track you across other websites.

Payment information. Processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number.

How we use your data

  • To provide the service: scraping public competitor data, generating AI analysis, and delivering your weekly digest
  • To send transactional emails: digest delivery, account notifications, billing receipts
  • To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate Vahti:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Resend — email delivery
  • Anthropic (Claude API) — AI analysis of competitor data
  • Railway — application hosting
  • Cloudflare — DNS and static site hosting

Each service processes only the minimum data required for its function. Competitor data sent to the Claude API is not used to train AI models.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie for authentication. No tracking cookies, no third-party cookies, no cookie banner required.

Data retention

Your account data and digest history are retained while your account is active. If you cancel, your data is deleted within 30 days. You can request immediate deletion by emailing us.

Your rights

You can export, correct, or delete your data at any time. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 48 hours.

Changes

We'll notify you by email if this policy changes materially. Minor clarifications may be made without notice.
